OuterBridge was founded to serve our clients the way we believe it should be done, and to continue to build it with people who want the same thing. Every hire we make is deliberate, and every member of the team carries real ownership over how our clients are served.
If you are an experienced practitioner who is tired of working inside firms whose owners’ and shareholders’ incentives compete with the work you want to do for clients, we should talk.
We are a boutique firm. We hire slowly and we hire well. Each person we bring on works directly with our clients, our methodology, and the rest of the team — there is no back row.
The three missions that drive how we measure ourselves as a firm also drive how we develop the people who work here:
1. The margin our clients recover by operating a more efficient risk program.
2. The employee and public lives our clients save, measured against their industry’s average.
3. The professional and personal development of our team.
We invest in your professional and personal development as deliberately as we invest in our methodology and our clients.
You lead client engagements end to end on behalf of the firm. You build Risk AFEs, you present them to client CFOs and CEOs, and you are accountable for the quality of the analysis, the recommendations, and the client relationship. This is a senior, client-facing role with a meaningful voice in firm strategy, and a long-term stake in the book of business you help build.
We look for: Deep relationships and operating experience within an existing industry specialization or one you propose for the firm — Wholesale Distribution, Multifamily Housing, CRE Leasing, Golf Course and Club Operations, or another sector you can credibly lead. Strong analytical fluency. A willingness and demonstrated aptitude to develop property and casualty mastery; direct insurance experience is welcomed but not required. The CIC or CPCU designation, equivalent applied credential, or a commitment to immediately pursue one upon hire is a must. Atlanta-based or willing to relocate.
To apply: send a resume and a brief note to careers@outerbridgera.com with “Risk Advisor” in the subject line.
You partner with a Risk Advisor across the engagement lifecycle. You manage carrier relationships, coordinate underwriting and renewal cycles, build the data foundation that informs our analysis, and stay close to the day-to-day inside our clients’ programs. You are accountable for the operational rigor that lets our analysis hold up.
We look for: 5+ years of agency experience working with middle-market commercial accounts ($25M to $250M+ in revenue), across all lines of coverage, where you have personally owned new business placement and renewal management for those accounts (not in an admin or support capacity), working directly with client risk managers, CFOs, and operating teams rather than strictly through a producer. Strong organization, comfort with data, and a builder’s mindset for client work. Pursuit of the CIC or CPCU designation welcomed and supported. Atlanta-based.
To apply: send a resume and a brief note to careers@outerbridgera.com with “Account Executive” in the subject line.
We are always interested in conversations with strong people in commercial property and casualty, and in the risk industry more broadly. If you do not see the role you are looking for and you think your work would fit how we operate, write to careers@outerbridgera.com and tell us who you are.
