Reportable Personal

Changes to your individual and family insurance needs don’t always align perfectly with your renewal date, which is why reporting them to your OuterBridge contact as soon as possible is critical.

We will discuss these with you and get to work to ensure that your coverage continues to fit your needs. While not extensive, below are some of the changes we typically see for individual and family insurance. As always, reach out to your OuterBridge contact to answer any questions that you may have.

  • Change of individuals who need to be covered under your individual and family policies.

  • Change of mailing address.

  • Purchase, sale, lease, construction, or occupancy of new premises; real estate alteration, vacating the premises or temporary unoccupancy; extension or demolition of existing premises. This applies for both domestic and foreign locations.

  • Increase or decrease in values of building, personal property, or inventory for both scheduled and unnamed locations.

  • Removal of a significant quantity of personal property or stock to new or temporary locations.

  • Addition of new locations, equipment or vehicles, whether hired, purchased, leased or borrowed.

  • Your care, custody or control of others’ automobiles or other property for any length of time.

  • Material change in net worth, that may necessitate a re-evaluation of appropriate Personal Umbrella limits.

  • Addition, alteration or temporary disconnection of fire or burglary protection systems.

  • Change in ownership of aircraft, or watercraft that utilizes an engine other than electric (ie: trolling motor).

  • Employment of full-time personal employees (ex: butlers, live-in nannies).

  • Election or appointment of a Board of Directors position.
